During the conference, I’ll be speaking on cellular and molecular responses to ionizing radiation, and on newer approaches to radiation risk mitigation. It’s encouraging to see how collaborative research continues to advance our understanding of radiation effects and safety, and I look forward to sharing insights from India’s work in this area.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with dedicated colleagues at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, and across many institutions. Whatever recognition comes my way is really a reflection of the collective effort and commitment of our scientific community.
International platforms like this are valuable not just for exchanging research findings, but for building partnerships that make science more impactful and relevant to society. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to representing our community in this important dialogue.
