Invited for Seminar at Kobe University

Feb. 6, 2013
It was a great day to travel to Kobe city from Tokyo by Shinkansen to deliver a Seminar at the Molecular  Photoscience Research Center of Kobe University. Arriving at Kobe University, my memories were refreshed as I have had visited the University in 2001. The weather forecast for the day was snow fall and it did mildly snow in Tokyo but weather was friendly in Kobe except that it was cold. I was glad meeting Prof Ohta, Director of the Center and researchers and students in the Department. Dr Okubo took me for a short visit to solid state laboratories spread in different locations within the University campus. I delivered the Seminar at 4.00 pm on Wed., Feb 6 on Prospects of Nano-size Liposomes for Targeted Drug Delivery in Cancer Radiotherapy and  enjoyed attending to interesting questions from audience regarding cancer treatment issues. In the evening, we assmbled for dinner in an Italian restaurant where among other dishes pizza was an attraction. Stay in Hotel Tokio was extremely comfortable and indeed enjoyable. On my return the next day, I was thrilled to view Mount Fujii before reaching Tokyo from Shinkansen ( Nijumi) because it was a sunny day with clear sky. As advised, I had occupied window seat on left side of the compartment for this purpose.
