77वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में मेरी भागीदारी

अत्यंत गर्व और खुशी का क्षण था जब मुझे 15 अगस्त 2023 को आयोजित 77वें उत्सव समारोह में हिंद सेवा परिषद संस्था, मुंबई के परिसर सभागार में विशेष अतिथि के रूप में आमंत्रित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर संस्था के अध्यक्ष ने मेरा सत्कार किया। कार्यक्रम में महाराष्ट्र और भारत के कई प्रतिष्ठित अतिथि—शिक्षा, प्रशासन, राजनीति, और सामाजिक क्षेत्रों से—मंच पर उपस्थित थे।

यह भी विशेष रहा कि श्री आर.सी. सिन्हा, वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी, महाराष्ट्र सरकार में अतिरिक्त सचिव और आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार के पूर्व मुख्य सचिव, भी इस आयोजन के विशेष अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे।

कार्यक्रम में छात्रों और छात्राओं द्वारा प्रस्तुत सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, जिसमें राष्ट्रीय गीत, व्याख्यान और नृत्य शामिल थे, सचमुच मनमोहक और प्रेरणादायक रहा।

 I am glad to share that I delivered a Keynote invited talk on "New Developments in Radiobiology and Their Implications for Health" during the IUAC-SRR Workshop held at IUAC, New Delhi, April 27-29, 2023. 

Honored with the Prestigious H.J. Bhabha Memorial Award

I had the privilege of receiving the H.J. Bhabha Memorial Award and the Bhabha Medal on January 7, 2023, at RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. The award was presented to me by Nobel Laureate Prof. Ada Yonath from Israel, who was awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Yonath is pictured at the center of the photograph, wearing a mask.

Also present were Prof. Vijay Laxmi Saxena, President of the 108th Indian Science Congress, and Mrs. Vijayalaxmi (IAS), Commissioner of Nagpur, who can be seen standing behind me in the picture.

This proud moment was captured and featured in the Times of India, Nagpur edition, on January 8, 2023. It was truly an unforgettable milestone in my professional journey.

Fascinations in Radiobiology : Relevance to Human Health and Occupational Safety

It is my pleasure to share, today I delivered a talk to the retiree scientists and engineers of Department of Atomic Energy at AERB( Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) auditorium, Anushakti Nagar. The occasion  was the DAE Pensioners Day Celebration, Dec. 17, 2022, 10.30 a. m.
